#Practical Usage Instructions

### Step 1: Start the software

Launch Low-Level Battery Info and allow it to retrieve the available battery information.

### Step 2: Select a Battery Slot

Choose the battery interface you want to inspect from the `Select Battery Slot` dropdown.

### Step 3: Review Battery Identification

Check the manufacturer, model, serial number, chemistry, and other available identification fields.

### Step 4: Examine Capacity and Health

Compare Design Capacity, Full Charge Capacity, and Current Capacity.

Review Battery Health and Relative Capacity Lost to understand the relationship between the battery's design specification and its currently reported capacity.

### Step 5: Monitor Power Information

Observe Power Source, Power State, Voltage, Charging/Discharging Rate, and Estimated Runtime.

These readings help you understand the battery's reported operating conditions.

### Step 6: Inspect Raw Data When Necessary

Click **Show R.A.W. Value** to open the raw-data window.

Review the interface enumeration, device-open result, IOCTL results, byte counts, and response buffers.

### Step 7: Compare Readings Over Time

If you are investigating a possible battery problem, compare readings obtained at different times and under comparable operating conditions.

Repeated observations are generally more useful than relying on a single reading.
